IREVNA, Chennai wins SITM’s Telecom GrandMasters Quiz 07
Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM), Pune– India’s finest Telecom B-School, organised their annual Flagship event- SITM Telecom GrandMasters Quiz 2007 in association with TATA Teleservices Limited, on Friday 24th August, at the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan Auditorium, Pune. The event, now in its sixth year, provides the only common competitive platform for corporate and student teams wherein they compete for the coveted title of ‘Telecom GrandMasters’.
This event has a nationwide presence which was showcased this year with the active participation of around 500 teams from 35 cities across the country for the preliminary rounds. This year’s winners were Anil Kumar and Vinod Ganesh from Irevna, Chennai. The first runners up were Lokesh Gurunathan & Pragati Katyal from SIBM, Pune. The second runners up were Subhodeep Jash & Subhajit Chakraborty from SSLC, Pune. Conducted by quizmaster Carson Dalton, known for his humorous demeanour, the finals made for an interesting showdown. TGM 2007 was graced by the presence of Mr.Aditya Jain, Chief HR officer, TTSL. The guest of honour was Mr. Pravin Agarwal, director and Chairman, SOTL. The noted singer and Indian Idol Mr. Abhijit Sawant also graced the event as the celebrity guest for the evening.
